I originally came into the Health Loft to meet a friend of mine who spends a lot of time working out of their office. I'd been to a chiropractor before, but the visits weren't more than your typical doctor's office experience. Going to another wasn't really on my radar until I saw/felt the vibe of THL. It was a place I wanted to be even without knowing the excellent care I'd receive. After meeting Dr. Stephanie I wanted to start working on my spine again as I didn't realize just how much pain I was in. I thought everyone's hips started hurting after walking a couple miles. It turns out that's not quite how things should be ;) I can't fully describe how welcoming and healing this place is, I just know that I look forward to going every week. From the always smiley and warm girls at check-in to the nurturing chiropractors, they make you feel like family. It's pretty special. After working with them for several months (and them working very patiently with me and my hectic travel schedule) I found myself on a long hike with several extra lbs in my backpack, which is something that would have killed me just 6 months before, and feeling no pain after several miles of steep hills and valleys. I was so happy to be able to move without pain, I didn't know how good I could feel doing something that I love. Many thanks to all at The Health Loft for helping me do more of what I really enjoy.

I found PhysioMed because they were one of the few nearby clinics that would accept a WSIB claim. I'm so glad I did. Thanks to their help my injury is completely healed and I'm now continuing physio to help with some other long-standing injuries that I've had physio for many times without success. After my first session at PhysioMed I had movement in my ankle that I haven't had in 35 years! I can't say enough good things about the knowledgeable, professional, helpful staff at this clinic and their functional, active approach to rehab. If you're looking for a rehab clinic in the Yonge & Bloor area, this is the place to go. Thanks, PhysioMed!

II am in my sixties...have been seeing Dr. O'Hara and now Dr Rankin for many years. The problem is osteoarthritis, which used to cause back spasms so severe that I ended up at hospital emergency.Dr. O'Hara really cares about her patients. She always gave me follow up exercises and tips. Dr Rankin has been so effective that I no longer have the kind of back problems others my age complain about. I also think Amelia and Cherle are two of the most pleasant receptionists ever! The whole office is an oasis of calm and positive vibes. In addition, Michael Darcy is an amazing massage therapist.

Truly one of the most gifted chiropractor's I know. Quite a few tried to help me years ago with a neck issue. Dr. Vitko was able to completely heal me within about 3 months. Take in mind others had been trying for over a year to help with no success.

I've been seeing Dr. Homer for two years due to back trouble. Having used another chiropractor in the past, I was able to see that he treated me with a lot of expertise. I continue to visit him for maintenance appointments and he has been very accommodating of my schedule, even opening the office early to be able to fit me in. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Gelber was the first chiropractor I ever saw and he definitely helped me and most importantly opened my eyes and mind to a world of natural health. This is why I am giving him 5 stars. However, over the last couple of years, I had been feeling increasing amounts pain coming from my neck and low back. The low back pain especially was much different than the pain that had originally brought me into his office. Whenever I brought this up at my adjustments, I was sometimes given additional stretches or strength exercises to do, which I always completed as per directions, but more often than not I was told that it is "all in my head" aka mental stress, to just tell myself the pain is not there, etc. I certainly understand the notion that mental stress and anxiety can cause subluxations and pain, and therefore I stayed much longer than I should have - mostly because if it was in my head, I did not want others telling me the same thing. I even thought I was crazy at one point when I was unable to turn my head or to walk for short spurts, but then the pain would go away, so I didn't pursue it further. Fast forward - I had x-rays taken elsewhere and definitely have degeneration in my spine that was not there 5 years ago in my low back and arthritis that was not in my neck 3 years ago. So, it was not "all in my head" after all... But I am sure that without his help over the last 5-6 years. If you choose to visit him, be sure to also listen to your intuition and be sure to ask/push for updated x-rays if you think something is wrong...Especially if he tries telling you that it is "all in your head" and despite listening and doing EVERYTHING he suggests, the pain is only getting worse... 3 weeks of adjustments elsewhere with someone who actually took me seriously and no dizziness has been experienced and I can actually move my neck again. Imagine that. So if you have doubts, listen to your intuition.

It all started with some pain I was experiencing behind my shoulder blade. After a few weeks of experiencing this pain, I decided to try chiropractic care. After some thorough testing and a consultation, it was discovered that what I thought was mild scoliosis had gotten much worse over the years. Over the course of a few months of chiropractic adjustments, not only did my shoulder feel better, but the curvature of the spine has improved as well. With many helpful discussions about overall health and nutrition, Dr Labelle's caring attention to my well being has paid off. Digestive health has also been linked to nervous system function. With the correction of spinal sublexations, I have also seen a major improvement in my ulcerative colitis symptoms. In fact, this is the first time I have stopped all colitis related medications in the 10 years since I have been diagnosed. Besides the health benefits, everyone in the office is so kind, welcoming and friendly. You definitely feel right at home after only a couple of visits. Scheduling is also very flexible, They always go out of their way to accommodate any changes in schedule or emergency visits.
