Paving Contractors

I was on Interstate 5 South on my way to Portland to go shopping with my friend on November 7th and caught up with one of their trucks on the highway. It was almost empty but lots of little rocks started falling out everywhere. I tried to pass it and of course the rocks hit my windshield put chips on it. I tried to get the driver's attention to no avail. But, I did record everything and filed a claim with their insurance. Just heard a month later that they won't pay because they "checked their logs" and it was "empty" and the rocks could have come from the road and I don't have an independent witness. Wow, won't even pay for rock chip repairs of under $100 when it was clearly their fault. NOT IMPRESSED with this company at all.
