Terrific wine and spirits shop with a nice selection to choose from. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

To celebrate my mothers 93rd birthday, we had a wine tasting at Spencer & Lynn in Groton. CT. The theme of the tasting was “Old World vs New World”. Kathryn presented 3 pairs of wines, one from old world, one from new world. Wow — what fun we had! Kathryn was able to keep the rowdy bunch on-track with aplomb, all while describing ravenous yeast, the subtleties of decaying skins, and how she once made wine from the blood of her mortal enemy. (Just kidding about that last point…) Thanks so much to Katherine — we’ll definitely do this again.

Walk here while waiting for your table at Ford's Lobster. Small but interesting beer selection and great staff.

Best hidden secret in the Mystic area. Enjoy the ambiance of a historic coastal New England town while picking up specialty craft beers, trying new whiskey or bourbon in their liquor room or picking up a nice bottle of wine all with excellent service and great prices! We love this place!

Universal Package store is easily the best local package store. With their fantastic selection of spirits and a wide variety of local and imported beers, you'll be sure to find what you're looking for. The owner CJ was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. I will definitely be returning!
