A business owner that can’t be bothered with customer issues when they’re A business owner that can’t be bothered with customer issues when they’re off, when your business thrives mostly when people are off? I live far away, but usually go here when visit my family bc I like the owner and much of my family goes here. I Put the wrong credit card in the machine (That’s on me). It was a company card (not my company) and realized it right away, but it went through. Asked to refund and redo on my personal card. They said they could, but only with the owners approval and he wasn’t in. I asked if they could reach out and they said, they didn’t want to bother him for this and to come back on Tuesday when he’s in, but he wouldn’t be able to do anything by then. I explained I live about 65 miles out, but am a very regular customer (and I was. I was buying all of my gift liquor here). The person I spoke even knows this. Still they said it wasn’t important enough to bother the owner on any days he’s off. And he reiterated it just wasn’t something he was willing to help with because it wasn’t that important. You won’t save enough to have an issue the employees refuse to deal with when the owner isn’t around which is fairly often these days. Since I used to go in on my days off and the owners days offs are on weekends and sometimes during the week, it seems best to not bother them him with future business either.
