You get so much for what you are paying here. Where else can your children’s and adults take classes up to 6 days a week for no extra cost! I feel proud of bringing my son to the program. An amazing program for the children’s and Adults. Children’s are so happy and excited participating one hour training and learning the self-defenses skills. The masters are so friendly and seem to be highly experienced. Strongly recommend all of you people to join the Whitby Taekwondo Academy!

I have no words to describe what Whitby Taekwondo Academy means to me and my family. We have been coming for 7 years, and I can say that is a place where you not only grow as an athlete, but as a person. We come with my three boys, and Master Ron has engaged us all to reach a potential that I never thought I'd have. My kids have learned to be courageous, respectful, helpful, resilient and all in a fun and uplifting environment. Master Ron, Lynn, Shawn and Claire are an amazing family and they make this place a treasure in Durham. The instructors are all very friendly, and every class is different, there is lots of flexibility and I truly recommend it for the whole family.

Awesome place for our daughter to build her confidence. She would likely have quit taekwondo had we not switched to this academy a few years ago. The staff are very supportive and understanding, and it has been a great experience overall. Highly recommend Whitby Taekwondo to other familes.

We came to Whitby Taekwondo as a club transfer looking to join the competitive circuit and allow our son to achieve a higher level of skill. From day one Master Ron along with the entire club welcomed Levi with open arms and made him feel like a part of their family. The coaching he has recieved has gone far beyond our expectations and already proven effective in competition. WTKDA is a positive and engaging atmosphere with patient and enthusiastic instructors. My son trains here 6 days a week and still can't get enough....The only regret we have is that we didn't transfer him here sooner!

My son, Myles, has been a member for a few months now. The staff is so friendly that we immediately felt like family. I would highly recommend this academy to anyone looking for one.
