Dr Lee and Staff here are fantastic

Dental work for me is great when thinking about hygiene and normal cleaning and checkups. However, I also need some extensive work and it can make me very nervous because with things like that you never know what might happen that is out of everyones control. Thankfully at Aspen in Inverness an amazing Dental Assistant, Julia H, helped me every step of the way and helped me feel reassured that I was in good hands with the Doctor and everyone in that office. I'm getting on in years and finally have a dentist with a great assistant I can rely on since I will be going back at least a dozen more times. I highly recommend Aspen in Inverness Florida.

The most unprofessional dental office I’ve ever been to. They start by taking 13 X-rays plus a panoramic. At times the technician asked me to hold the bite-device in my hand. Then someone introduced herself as someone who was going to do a full complimentary periodontal evaluation. I told her it wasn’t necessary and that I just wanted someone to look at my broken tooth. She said if I refused, the visit may not be covered by my insurance. I obviously allowed her to proceed. During the exam, she was drawing mucus through her nose and swallowing it. I asked her if she was sick. She told me she was on antibiotics. Further, after probing each small area of my gum line, she would reach over my head to enter her findings on a computer via a keyboard. Then she would put her hand/fingers back in my mouth. It didn’t seem sanitary. She noted one small area of bone loss with some bacteria. The dentist then arrived and made his recommendations. I was then told to go in a lounge area and wait for the office manager. When I met with the manager, I asked about a cleaning. She told me that due to the bacteria that was discovered, they wouldn’t clean my teeth. In other words, pay for the gum treatment and then they could clean my teeth. I’m still shocked that any insurance company supports what seemed to me to be almost a scam.

Aspen dental changed my life. Aspen dental attempted to fix a very small chipped tooth with a crown. They were unsuccessful with preparing a good crown I was satisfied with and the dentist began to get frustrated and chose to quit trying. I have received multiple opinions from other dentist that I did not need the crown and Aspen gave me no other option. I am now insecure about my self and my smile. I use to have the perfect teeth and get so many compliments about my smile. Aspen dental changed that for the rest of my life. I am only 21 years old and don’t feel comfortable even taking pictures. I wish the company could show some kind of simpathy for the pain and heartache I continue to live with from here on out.

I was totally horrified to go through the doors(due to many years of BAD dental experiences and unprofessional staff). BUT!!!! From the moment I walked in until I left, the entire staff was so kind, patient, understanding, respectful, non judgmental and so empathetic to my fear. I will be returning soon to complete my treatment and will be able to enter without anxiety, fear or hesitance. I am excited to see the final outcome of my smile. Thank you so much INVERNESS ASPEN DENTAL, for accepting me for me and not judging.
