Dr. Torralba counseled me through PMR for 1-1/2 yrs. while I had to take Prednisone. She is very caring, helpful and will give you all the time you need. She also watches my osteo arthritis. I highly recommend her.

Horrible first impression by the office staff! I was referred in November by a primary Dr. I received one phone message before Thanksgiving from the "scheduler" to set an appointment date. I called back three times, left messages and never heard back until Feb! I touched base again and made my appt. When I called to see if there was a cancellation for a sooner date, I'm told that there was no referral found, I'm not in the system and I would need to call the Dr about it. I had to remind her that she called me first.. I didn't refer myself so they had info between Nov and now(April 26th). The "scheduler" then sends me over to the "billing" person and she tells me that they're not in my BCBS network. So I would be charged as an out of network patient? I asked why this wasn't known before and her response, "well she's the scheduler and I'm in billing." I was appalled! After working in the medical field and being in the referral dept. we had a much better plan for referrals to be done in a professional and smooth manner. We had all of the info, referring Dr info, and your INSURANCE info! This staff is ridiculous and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, so that completely turned me off from seeing the Dr. which I wouldn't of mind paying to see if the staff represented her office better!
