Absolute best Dental visit I've ever had! Everyone from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist were all so kind and patient. I am terrified to go to the dentist and they made it so comfortable that I'm really looking forward to going back

The staff is very warm & friendly. The girl at the front desk was very sweet, along with the hygienist. They are were very thorough and accommodating. The hygienist made sure I knew what was going on. Both her and Dr. Danner welcomed any questions I might have. It got a five, because it was above & beyond any dental experience I've ever had. (and there's a spa downstairs, and being a patient, I got a great discount card!)

I was very happy about this establishment the first time I was here, but the second time was the last. I had an appointment to have my teeth cleaned a few days ago. After they had cleaned my teeth and were telling me what I needed done in the future, they also THEN decided to tell me that they went 'out of network' with my insurance company and I was going to be billed for the visit. I should have been notified of this PRIOR to my visit, or at least prior to doing anything. Had I known they were out of network, I would have found another dentist, but that's probably why they neglected to tell me.

So I have been going to this dentist for many years. When I first started it was good, then came all the "recommendations". So we starting with fillings, after the fillings I mysteriously had 2 cracked teeth. Of course the dentist is not responsible! So the dentist "talked" me into doing crowns because he said he didn't want to do a drastic surgery like a root canal. So like an idiot I said ok (not realizing that crowns are way more expensive, and insurance only covers 50%). So I get them and guess what, my insurance is maxed out and they didn't do anything to relieve the discomfort I has having (couldn't chew on the left side of my mouth). So I have to wait a year for my benefits to renew. When I go back in I get 2 root canals on the cracked teeth (that I "must" of cracked myself the night of getting the fillings). So I went in with no problems spent close to $3,000 out of pocket after insurance and couldn't chew on the left side of my mouth for over a year! After that I decided that I would only get cleaning done there and I would out source a second opinion if more "recommendations" came along. I did this because I loved the office staff. That is until my most recent visit. My company changed dental providers and I came in for a cleaning. A quarter of the way through the cleaning the receptionist interrupts my cleaning stating (in a very condescending tone) that I don't have dental insurance! I said that was a mistake and she said she "called them". So now they stop the cleaning and I am on hold with my insurance company doing the receptionist's job!!!!!! Finally after 45 minutes on hold I get someone who assures me I have dental insurance and gives me all the numbers and codes I need. So obviously she never "called"! So by this point I'm livid, I tell them to skip the "exam" and just do the cleaning. When leaving the receptionist (in a very rude tone and fascial expression) asked what the number was for the insurance. I simply opened my wallet and read her the number off of the card I had given her. With this said, I will never go back to this dentist's office! The way I was treated and spoken to was unacceptable and uncalled for.
