Tried this place for the first time today. I was welcomed by A young lady who made me feel welcome. Didn’t notice any pricing anywhere. The gentleman who cut my hair was good and took the time to work on my hair. But... when I paid, I was kind of shocked it was $33 plus tip, seeing how I didn’t get a shampoo and wash, wasn’t asked if I wanted some hair products for styling and also the gentleman didn’t use a mirror to show me the back of my head. I usually pay a little bit less, but get a wash and styling products, somewhere else. I would be surprised if I see myself going here again.

I have been a regular to Tonyc for quite some time and their services is excellent. My Hairstylist is Elan and he is a perfectionist. The receptionist Remmy and the support staff is friendly and overall a great atmosphere.

NAOMI T. does the absolute BEST job with my hair. I get a wash, blow dry and a flat iron at the end. Naomi is friendly, always prompt, gives an awesome scalp massage and finishes my hair in about an hour or so (which is FAST seeing as I have THICK, nappy hair)! My hair stays straight for weeks with minimal frizz! THE FRONT DESK ladies are always so nice, they take your coat when you get there and offer you drinks while you wait for your appointment to begin. Booking appointments over the phone are always super easy and quick which I love... no one likes being on the phone forever trying to figure out an appointment time. THE SALON is bright, clean and there's tons of products available, and usually there's a buy 1 get 1 offer going on. Highly recommend this salon and Naomi!

I went in requesting just for a little trim to take down the bulk of my hair. And it was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had. 1. The barber was late, had to wait 15 minutes. 2. Welcome into the salon poorly, no interest in customer service or the fact my barber was late, I get it, in the morning we could be tired, that’s fine, but pull yourself together. Other early morning customer service staff starts at 500am and still doesn’t have that behaviour. 3. Poor technique, now here is when it gets worst, Not only did the barber/stylist cut other parts of my hair which I didn’t request AT ALL! He used a straight razor and with poor angling technique basically cut the side of my head to the point where I was bleeding AND had very obvious visible cuts that didn’t heal until 2 weeks later. They said I’m sensitive there but I had my hair straight razored before and no problems.

Worst hair cut, GUY doesn’t know what he was doing. He did exactly opposite of what I told him to do. Cut looks worse. Not worth
