I've been going here for a while now. The owner Basim, usually recognizes me. Last time I went there he asked me to do my beard, I told him I rather not as it was pricey, he insisted that I should and he would use just the machine and give me a deal. Charged me $30 for the cut and beard. Normally they would charge me $15-$20 for the cut depending on if I needed a fade, $15 for a machine only beard trim... how's that supposed to be a "deal" I expressed my displeasure to him when I was about to pay. Really disappointed that he treats his regulars like this, never going back.

Great experience. I live an hour out of the city and prefer going to a place where they aren’t trying to rush you out in 10 mins. I tried some local places closer to home but was very disappointed. Basim takes pride in his work.

Be very careful if you choose to get your haircut here, I say that in the sense of their prices and how quickly they change them depending on who they see walking through the door. Be sure to get your prices before they even sit you in the chair. I came to Basil after 5 years as he used to be my regular barber when I use to live in the area. My regular barber that I have been going to for almost 10 years went back home for couple months I decided to go back (completely out of my way) to get a simple beard trim which is not too complicated. Had to wait about half hour just for a beard trim, which I respect as there was one person ahead of me so I patiently waited for my turn. While I was waiting, I took a look at the price list which is sort of visible and notice that the price list ranges from $5-$10 for a bread trim which to me seems reasonable but was a completely different story when it was time for me to cash out. When I sat down all I wanted was a trim, no hot towel and no fine shaving. Spent all in about 15 mins on the beard and when it was time to cash out my total was $28! (Just the beard alone). I don’t know how he came to that total because he could not break it down for me but any other place I could’ve got a full haircut, hot towel and a detail shave for that much plus the tip. When I asked him how come he was charging me so much his answer was “I have too much hair” and told me that it would cheaper if I would pay by cash. I will most defiantly not be coming back and using their services again, this was the second chance I had given them but want to warn others to be aware of how they lure you in to rack up your total bill.
