I used to get my silk presses by Nicola years ago. Service was fast and they are friendly. The mint treatment was great. I wouldn’t recommend a silk press. As it’s the same day and my silk press is gone and I spent $100 I was offered a repress tomorrow. I should’ve stuck with the blow dry.

I work for an agency with people who have developmental disabilities Long story short, the individual I support does not like many places when it comes to cutting his hair. The staff here treat him kindly and have so much patience with him. Specifically Connie who he requests for every single time we go! I absolutely adore this place and I'm so glad that there are establishments such as this one where we can go to! Yes it is in Sheridan mall and many people think it isn't the greatest areas but they always go above and beyond! Definately a 5 star place to go and cut your hair :)

I drive all the way from Woodbridge to Sheridan Mall for the Fantastic haircut I receive from the stylist in the salon. The price is reasonable her schedule is flexible and she stays focused on the customer while she's got you in her stylist chair. I always received many compliments from family and friends about my haircut. Gilda is a great hairdresser and you would be very satisfied and happy if you went to her

This really is a gem of a place! It’s been around for over 30 years and for good reason. Don’t let the Italian name fool you, they do have someone who specializes in African-American hair and I’ve seen the gentleman work wonders on scraggly men who enter and leave looking polished. I’ve had services by both the gentleman and the hairstylist, Connie. I was able to get exactly what I wanted based on photos. I went with a friend who also received great advice on what treatments were a no-no for her hair due to medications thinning her hair out. It’s a small salon so there’s usually only 4 hairstylists working so there may be a wait in the evenings or on Saturdays but since we went during the week, it was not too busy as we only waited 15 minutes to be served, without an appointment. The salon itself is clean and tidy and the prices were reasonable but to be honest, you cannot put a price on knowledge and experience. I’ve paid far more for less. This is a bit out of the way for me but if I’m in the area or in need of a really good/new cut I’ll make the trek and return.
