Got my makeup and hair done here for a wedding. Absolutely horrible, the makeup is drag queen styled and they will literally almost burn your hair off. They blow dried my hair that was already dry again and then tried curling it, but it was horrible, it became flat and uncurled within 20 minutes, but the stylist made a big deal about it saying that I should not have touched it (i didnt i was waiting for my other friend to finish) although she had a sour attitude she redid my hair, still not the same as how i wanted it (i showed a picture) and made side comments the entire time to her other coworkers. The makeup was the worst, no primer, setting spray, concealer or even highlight. they did my eyeshadow the complete opposite of how i wanted, i wanted a soft glam look and instead i got a dramatic drag queen style. on one side of my eye was a white shadow and the other was brown with horrible blending. No sparkles even to add something, nothing. Within 30 minutes of my makeup being done it became wrinkled (I dont have wrinkles) and blotchy. it looked like someone tried slapping foundation on your face and then calling it a day with a dramatic eye look. they overdo the lips as well. they tried overcharging us as well, when we were already paying 200$. they argued they had to do my brows, but I never asked them to, they only trimmed it without even warning me of what theyre doing they wanted to charge me $25 for eyebrows, that they did not warn me ahead of time for. THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING YOU TELL THEM NOT TO DO IF YOU WANT A LOOK OR A PICTURE TO SHOW THEY WONT DO IT THEY CANNOT DO MAKEUP AT ALL. Our bridal party was extremely disappointed

I will never come to this salon again. the service is terrible, the employees are rude and careless. The makeup was even worse, I looked like i was getting ready for halloween and not a wedding. Very high price for something so terrible. Would not recommend this salon

I wish I could give this salon zero stars. This is the worst salon I have ever been to. The employees are careless and rude. I went to get my hair and makeup done for my sister's wedding and every salon that I have ever been to washes the hair before doing so.. Bahar's salon instead just starts the hair with no oil, spray or protection, nothing and after 30 minutes the curls in my hair fell apart and the top of my hair was frizzy. And while the employee was doing my hair, they carelessly pulled my hair to a point where i regreted coming here. basically it looked like i fell asleep and woke up... and when i asked for a touch up, they in the rudest tone said "this is what the picture looked like" which is a lie. Also the makeup was absolutely horrifying, I asked for a soft and subtle nude natural makeup look but instead used dark colors such as red and dark browns, basically the oppisite of subtle and when i asked them to change it they agreed in a very rude way and started mumbling to themselves and I'm assuming they didn't know that i understood their language so i knew what they were saying .. basically the employees complain and gossip about their clients and the price point is ridiculous. Basically I payed over $200 for a frizzy, horrifying, and disgusting hair and makeup look. I will never EVER come to this hair salon again.

UPDATE AFTER the review I wrote below: The salon did call me back and offer me a certain amount of credit for their service as compensation. I think this is very thoughtful of them. Thank you. I had my hair and makeup done just a few days ago preparing for a wedding I was attending. First of all, I booked literally a month before the event and when I arrived on the date my name wasn't in their agenda but they let me through anyway because they weren't too busy that day. My hair was styled not as I liked it to be 100%-- I ended up fixing it at home. When it was time for my makeup, the lady didn't even ask me what color preference I wanted for lip and eye shadow nor did she ask what color dress I was wearing to get any idea whatsoever-- I kept thinking that "maybe when she gets to choosing lipstick or eye shadow she will ask me" but she never did. I stopped her in the middle of application and told her to please make sure the eye shadow is neutral and light colors-- she said okay no problem. And I specifically told her not to apply eyeliner over my eyelids, and she said "okay". When she finished my makeup and I looked in the mirror-- the eye shadow that was used was brown, there was no other color but brown; she had applied eyeliner over my lids even, after all. She also applied purple sparkles underneath my lower lashes (my dress was red). I was unhappy with the result but I let it pass and thanked her and thought maybe I could just remove the shadow at home and the lipstick (I didn't mention the lip color she applied was a pale grey purple.). I paid around $200 for both hair and makeup. When I went home and took my sweater off-- I noticed the foundation she applied was wayyy darker than my skin color-- my body is white/pale and the foundation was orange in comparison. So I washed my entire face off and applied my own makeup. A waste of $200 for something I literally washed off and did myself. The people working there are kind and respectful but business is business and I was very disappointed.
