This late afternoon, I went in with my 11 year old to get her a haircut. At first impression the hair dresser (short haired lady) told me she was "too busy and I should come back in an hour." I should have left then, but stupidly came back. I showed her the hairstyle my child wanted and then the lady started telling me that "because she has really curly hair, she will need a dry cut. That's how she learned at top professional school in Japan." She then proceeds to slap lotion on part of my child's hair and with a fine tooth comb, she starts combing and pulling her hair. I told her that she needs to have her hair washed and conditioned before cutting, b cause that's how it's always been in other salons, and the lady start again with how little I know and how she learned to do it this way in a top professional school. My child didn't say anything, so I didn't stop. Then I look up again and see piles of hair on the floor and my child is crying. I then tell the lady to stop because she's hurting my child and my child is now hysterically crying. The lady starts yelling at me and then yelling at my child and telling her how it's "her fault that she has ugly hair and it should be short because long curly hair is ugly." I then told the lady that we were done and to leave her head alone and the lady again yells at me and now tells me that she refuses to finish the job and for me to pay the $25 and get out of her salon. She then says again to my child that "her hair is ugly and she needs short hair because curly hair long is ugly." I had to pay because she wouldn't let us leave without paying. She's ruined my child's hair and she embarrassed my child to the point that my child now doesn't want to go to school because her hair is lopsided.

Extremely slow. One gentleman took nearly thirty minutes for a trim and came out looking relatively the same as before. Overall I spent nearly an hour there and never got seen to. If someone came in before you don't bother waiting.
