I recently moved from the East coast and was very apprehensive about finding a new salon. I went to this salon after reading the reviews and for their close proximity to my new place. I have been here twice now and have had exceptional service both times. As one reviewer stated, do not be put off by the appearance. I went for a haircut and style, not all the posh of the overpriced salons. I was very happy both times and plan to continue at this salon.

After 7 times of coming back, I think it's time for me to give Ivy and her team props! We were growing out our LO's hair but we decided that it's time to get his first haircut. Finding someone that can tolerate a 2 year old and finding a place that doesn't charge too much is hard. Thanks to yelp we found Ivy's hair salon! Reading the reviews didn't convince us just yet, as an undercover hairstylist my self, I need to see photos. I was scrolling through the pictures and I saw my friend's son with his swag hair cut. If my friend posted a photo of her kid because she was so happy with his haircut, then this place deserves a try. Good thing we did! I'm also in charge of finding my hubby's new hairstylist. Ever since we moved to Mira Mesa, he has been been going to Gina's hair salon all the way to Imperial Beach. My search is now over, if my son's haircut is on point at Ivy's then it should be good enough for my hubby. And of course, they didn't disappoint. My boys always comes out looking so fresh and so clean!

My mom, my sister and I all got haircuts here and we were very satisfied, the base price is $25, but can be more depending on the type of cut. It's totally worth it though!

Vy and everyone at Ivy salon are the best. I recommend you make an appointment because they are usually pretty busy.

Dana did it again!! About 1.5 years ago, I went to Dana for a hair cut due to an upcoming interview. She told me she would give me a "lucky" professional haircut. I laughed and said "ok". Well...I got the job. Now...1.5 years later I went to Dana again. She remembered me as soon as I walked in the shop. I told here I was in town for another interview and again, she gave me my haircut...I figured why not? Couldn't hurt...right? Well...she did it again...I got the job!! Now that I will be living in San Diego...I will go to her regularly. She gives a great haircut!!
