I have been terrified of dentists for much of my life. With good cause I might add. Thanks to the wonderful people at Horizon Dental this is no longer the case. My first experience with Dr. Mughrabi involved an abscessed tooth and a lot of bleeding. He told me to meet him at his office even though it was after seven. Once he’d gotten the bleeding stopped he gave my husband his personal number in case there was more trouble. Since then I have found his staff to be kind and friendly people who have been most understanding during my treatment and recovery from lymphoma. The dental hygienists are deft and gentle. Yesterday Shannon worked with me to find an alternative way to take my x-rays. The receptionist has been most understanding all these years even when I forgot an appointment. I will certainly recommend them, especially to people who are nervous or fearful about dental work.

EDIT: Molly is AMAZING. My cleaning went smoothly, I was not in any pain, and I left feeling like I was a valued client. Next cleaning is on Jan. 3, and I'm actually not scared! Thank you! I am a HUGE chicken when it comes to dentists. I know I take less than stellar care of my teeth, and the last couple dentists I've been to have lectured me and then been slightly contemptuous of my desire to be sedated for cleaning. Horizon was different, than goodness. The receptionists were both pleasant, and everyone was more than happy to help answer questions. The first tech I saw explained everything, took my x-rays, and made sure I was comfortable with the entire process. Molly came into to do my first exam and take measurements, and patiently answered all my questions. She's also left-handed which gives her an extra five bonus awesome points, and it's probably the only reason I remember her name. I'm awful that way. Dr. Yousef (I think, because I'm terrible with names) was amazing, and she explained everything needed to me again. She also made a point of recognizing that the hardest part of coming in, at least for me, was being there right then. Thank you so much for making this a pleasant experience. I'm not looking forward to my next appointment, exactly, but I'm certainly not afraid of it, either.

Recently started taking care of my mouth these past 2 years and Horizon Dental Care in Georgetown takes care of me. Recently had fillings done By Dr. Z and the procedure was quick and painless. Didn't need any numbing and the experience was great. I currently get a teeth cleaning twice a year and both ladies know what they are doing and more importantly are very nice and great to work with. Really recommend! Regard Paul

The Horizon Dental Clinic in Georgetown, TX makes going to the dentist a pleasurable experience. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, and Shannon takes the time to explain every detail of what she is going to do and is very receptive to questions. The procedure that I went through was painless and I left Horizon feeling that it was done right and correctly. Through both of my visits I met two Dentists, both of which were friendly and professional, making the process easier and making me feel more comfortable. Me and my wife plan on continuing to use Horizon for our future dental needs.

After seeing several dentists and also a denture lab, we were told that my elderly mother would have to have all of her remaining teeth pulled in order to have dentures. Then we met Dr. Z. He and his staff listened to our concerns and developed a plan to save her remaining teeth and fit her with partial bridges. We just saw her new upper bridge, and she loves having her smile back! We feel really fortunate to have a dentist team that understands the needs and wants of the elderly, and to work at whatever pace was tolerable for her on a given day.
