As the 8th grade teacher, I wish to express how privileged I feel to be able to work in such an amazing school for over 16 years. I encourage anyone to come and experience St. Catherine's during a number of opportunities during the school year, such as: an Open House in January, school tours offered during October and November, sport events and rallies, the annual Christmas Program, Drama productions, the Family Sunday and First Friday Masses, the Fall Festival, or assist us in our participation of Sacraments, community service projects and collections, or volunteers service hours. We offer so much at St. Cat's...all you have to do is come by the office and inquire. We are more than happy to show you around.

Our son started St. Catherine's school in Burlingame in the 6th grade. At first, he was a bit overwhelmed with the junior high homework load, but he eventually adapted. Now that he is in high school, we are seeing the benefits of St. Catherine's emphasis on time management and organization skills. Also, he really enjoyed his time there and always has great things to say about his teachers.

I have lived next door for over 20 years. I use to at first go to Catholic Church-School as a devout Protestant-Episcopalian from a stiff, "offerings!!", and "HELL FIRE" terrible unsympathetic scary awkward preacher as a child, but a man who unwittingly did so much real Good by allowing the Boy Scouts to use his classrooms, for Decades. So many boys and families were aided saved enriched, made whole-persons by so many Community-generous adult parent volunteers of unique talents, but mainly Generous. That truly talented public speaker Priest with a kind message moved on and I stopped sneaking joining in to another "it's the Money!" biz climbing culture, like the Mormons I am very familiar with. The children, rightly are playing and learning to dance day and night at dance parties. So not the best quiet for day sleepers-night workers or normal dayworkers apartment neighbor. The school has tried to buy the historic low rent for low income apartment building, for a parking lot, for Very expensive cars of church members. Clearly the school needs more space, sound space and parking space and social climbing not social do-gooding space, but maybe not downtown by devouring its neighbors. I have had the Catholic Church School children throw stones at my 3rd level bedroom window. And the church and city re-marked the parking so as a tour bus driver employee I can't park the big company bus curbside just to eat lunch or dinner at home and save money on an always under $40k income. Don't tell me to move to Tracy and 4hr commute please. So Definitely Not the Christian "golden rule" friendly neighbor.

I am a proud parent of twins at St Catherine's School (second grade). My children are respected and supported in their education. They are academically challenged and they are raised in a Christ-centered environment. I cannot say enough about the quality of the Principal (Sr Antonella) and the staff. Please be under no illusions: this school sets out to challenge your child academically and support them being the best they can be. Parents are expected to support their children (homework etc) and by volunteering at the school. None of this is onerous for people who want the best education for their children and I am confident that St Catherine's provides that.
