Great school! Our daughter has been attending for several years and we're very happy with everything.

I absolutely love this school! The teachers, principal, administration, and the families are all supportive and fantastic! I have been teaching in California for twenty years and now, teaching here, I am finally happy. This school is like the Bay Area's hidden gem. The curriculum is rigorous with the majority of students working above grade level, yet there is also much focus on art and music. I have never seen a happier campus overall.

I love this school it's amazing the kids are nice, we play many games at recess, and finally it just fun to be here at this school.

Yew Chung has an excellent bilingual curriculum and give children a global view of the world. My daughter is comfortable conversing in both English and Mandarin. Obviously she is better in English, but when spoken to Chinese, she will respond in Chinese. I have compared the curriculum at YCIS with other public and private schools in the area and I feel quite comfortable that my child is "keeping up" while learning a second language at the same time.

I've meet 3 principles in the 3 years my son has attended this school. The disorganized curriculum from changing leadership results in large gaps in subject material from one teacher to the next. They also stress handwriting over creativity and problem-solving in correcting homework.
