I was very disappointed in The Lucy School. We toured the school almost a year ahead of when we planned to send out kindergartener there and the information we were provided was fantastic and was exactly what we were looking for for our child. Unfortunately, the school was not true to its words. Our child needed some extra attention in the classroom and accommodations to ensure he was successful. Despite the school stating the had services in place to help us with this, those services we severely delayed and not at all what they made them to be. We had to seek external assistance and guidance for our child and while we were working through this, the school failed to give our child or us a chance to create a plan for success. They pretty much told us they are not a school to provide accommodations to children in need. With two and a half months left in the school year, we now get to navigate what should have been a wonderful first year of school into one with last minute disruptions. On top of all this, they put children’s parents in teacher roles just to allow for family tuition discounts. Lucy school failed us and failed our child. Unless you have an angel or in their “clique” families, don’t waste your money or your breathe. What a huge waste of money and ultimate disappointment.

As I am about to enter High School, I am looking back on my Pre-K and Kindergarten years and I realize how incredibly lucky I was to attend this school. You give your child such an amazing gift when you send them to Lucy School. I will never forget the time I spent blowing water color paint around on a piece of paper with a straw, playing and exploring the big forest, petting baby chicks, jumping from rock to rock over a stream to take a class picture, playing buffalo and Indians, and discovering my passion for acting in Mrs. Vicky's classroom draped with colorful fabric and homemade decor. This school made a huge difference in my life, and I will never forget the things I learned or the friends I made. Learning becomes so much easier when your child has fun and their needs are personally assessed. Lucy offers so much more than public school, like awesome adventures into the woods to discover new bugs, and a love for art, music, drama, science, math, and reading. Lucy has made me an "outside-the-box" thinker, a natural explorer, and given me a true love for learning. Subjects like math, science, and reading were made easy and fun to understand and your child will absolutely ADORE going to school. When I moved to a public school after kindergarten, it was no where near as nurturing, loving, or exciting as Lucy School. By putting your child in Lucy School, you are giving them a gift they will treasure forever. Hanna Green, if you read this, it's Caitlin! I miss you and Max and Spencer and Leslie and Mrs. Vicky and Mrs. Katelyn! I love you guys! And thank you Mrs. Vicky for making such a huge difference in my life! I hope Lucy School never changes its AMAZING curriculum so that I can bring my kids here in the future. P.S.- I really hope you guys never stop taking the kids to the forest area, because it is beautiful and it was my favorite activity.

Awful awful awful. I was concerned about whether I could afford Lucy School. I applied for the financial aid and I did receive it, but my son's father lost his job. I was assured that if my child didn't attend, the $980.00 deposit would be refundable minus the $50.00 application fee. I never signed the contract which made Lucy unavailable. Now, Chris refuses to give me back my deposit. Do not send your children there.

We transferred from another private school and it has been a great experience for my daughter. Fabulous teachers and wonderful campus. I am so glad to have found this school!
