Every staff member cares about what you do and how you do it. There is not a person in the school that doesn't want to see you succeed. Great school!

We came to Academy of Our Lady so our daughter could attend Pre-School almost twenty years ago. This June our youngest child will graduate from 8th grade. It’s amazing to think that our family will have spent almost two decades in one place, but I could not think of a nicer place to be! The warmth of the faculty and staff and presence of Jesus Christ is evident from the moment you walk in the doors; and everywhere you look you can see children growing in their faith. It has meant so much to our family to provide our three children with a catholic education in such an academically successful school. Our two daughters and our son were all involved in the St. Joseph’s Scholastic Olympics when they were in 8th grade, an academic competition at which AOOL has placed first an amazing SEVEN times over the past twelve years. They’ve also been involved in numerous clubs over the years, including Reading, Math and Spanish clubs; Stock Market club and Quiz Bowl; Yearbook, Newspaper, School Ambassadors and Student Council. The girls played volleyball when it was instituted at the school in 2009 and our son has been playing basketball for AOOL since the third grade. The school has so much to offer and it has given our children a firm foundation on which to build the rest of their lives. With one daughter in a Catholic college, and another about to graduate from a local Catholic high school, we are resolute in our belief that Academy of Our Lady helped them develop the character they exhibit when meeting everyday challenges. Our son is still the beneficiary of the wonderful teachers’ skills and their reinforcement of the values we hold dear. I would certainly recommend a Catholic education to anyone; especially a catholic education that takes place at Academy of Our Lady. It will prepare your children academically in the best way possible and give them the tools they need to live a faith-filled life. From

My oldest child began pre-school in 1999 and is graduating from 8th grade in two weeks. Behind her I have two more, a daughter in 5th grade and a son in 1st. The education that they have all received was exactly what my husband and I were looking for when choosing a Catholic school over the very good public schools in our area. The environment is warm, the teachers are dedicated and the curriculum is stimulating to all levels of learning. After school clubs and sports add to the overall picture that is an Academy of Our Lady education. My daughter is headed to AHA in September, and I know the foundation that has been built for her at this school will carry her through the high school years and beyond.
