I grew up going here and it's a great church. And to address a comment about the 15% "tax" that a previous gentlemen left about the harvest moon bazaar (which is fabulous btw), each year the bazar us held to benefit the women's ministries and I'm pretty sure it's explained in information when you sign up to be a part of it.

This is an inspiring place! Transparent, humble, can't beat the pastor and Stu Weber...They are the most generous church I have ever seen! They raised over $85,000 for helping pregnant mothers and babies! Good Shepherd is really involved in Community Service to help just about every problem that exists - Human trafficking, homeless, foster care, medical care... this list is extensive! They pay for youth organizers, a children's specialist and planner; very patriotic with military support, music is not so loud you have to wear ear plugs (most of the time,) with easy to read monitor. Certainly give it a try.

I just started attending this church as a visitor one year ago and find it a very inspirational church. I can feel the Holy Spirit is working at Good Shepherd Community Church and hope to participate in more functions sponsored by the actively heroic church members! God is Good! All the Time!!!

This is my home church. Just one part of Jesus' global church. I love the vision Good Shepherd has for the world and for the community. We don't shy away from looking into the Bible. We believe it is God's word to us, so we do take the Word of God seriously, but we believe (and know from experience) that God gives us great joy in knowing Him, being with others who know Him, and through worship of Him. I'm so thankful to belong here. Whether it is here, or at a different church, just go! Be with believers and walk towards Jesus :-)

It wasn't a service or pastor, but the greediness of this church for it's "Holiday" bazaar. Not only do they charge a table fee (perfectly ok as this is standard practice for farmer's markets, bazaars, etc), however they also tack on a 15% fee on all sales. Seriously? How about if this church takes a hard look at Matt 21:12? If I'm back next year (doubtful) I'm tacking on a 15% surcharge and when customers ask why, I'm going to inform them about this churches greediness.
