This school has amazing teachers who really care about each student on both academic, spiritual, and personal levels. All the teachers are more then happy to help us understand anything we have difficulties with and are really helpful. The students are fun to hang around with, and I think they make the experience a lot better.

Love this school, by far one of the best experiences that i have ever had in a learning environment. The teachers and staff really care about you and they want to see you grow and also grow spiritually. I felt like i was apart of a family that really cared about each other and would do anything for each other. Plus the academics are very helpful and really set you up for success. I recently moved and started in the public school system and City Christian really gave me the necessary tools to succeed.

Hate this school. Fake people.

My experience at City Christian this past year was absolutely terrible. Office ladies favor staff kids. To be honest, the elementary was nice. But the 6-12 grade part of the school is just a complete dump. Mice run around in the lunch room (which is really just a gym with 4 tables on the side), the microwaves sometimes work, in one room the light fixtures are so old that they do not make the bulb anymore. In fact, one room water leaks in so we have to keep the door open to prevent it from molding. I am just fed up with City Christian. I do appreciate the education they give about Christ, but some of the teachers just do not care. I have been at City for 8 years. This year really was a complete waste. I really can't tell you that I learned much this year. Their curriculum is average. The bathroom walls are open, the drywall destroyed. Ever since the new principal has been managing the school has been going down hill. Here is my detailed review about each teacher. Mrs. Velazquez is the Spanish teacher and she does a great job. She cares dearly about each student and really loves them. I highly encourage you to select her as an elective for Spanish. Mr. Williams is the athletic director and math 87 teacher. I do not have him for PE, however I have him for math. He has caused me to not enroll because of how he acts. He yells at students and favors certain ones. It has been a ongoing problem with multiple students and alot see it. He is constantly unprepared. Ms. Crow is the Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 teacher. She has taught me last year and she does a great job teaching. I learned alot from her math wise and she has a great system. Ms. Smith is one of the LASSO teachers and the 7th grade homeroom teacher. I don't have her for LASSO so I can't really say much about her. Plus the 15 minute homeroom doesn't really tell me much about her. She does tell alot of students to "shut your face". Ms. Damazio is the PE teacher. She is a good teacher and I like her overall. Mr. Smith (Pastor Adam) is the MS bible teacher. I think he's a great teacher and we get alot of work done. Mrs. Ray is the other LASSO teacher. I like her, but she can be sexist towards male students. We don't get much work done either. Overall I do not recommend City Christian because of my recent experience. But it is your decision if you want to enroll your child here. I strongly encourage you to not do so. -Jaiden Telford

It's a great school, very tight knit. Good staff, good people, Christ is the forefront. The education is good, math and English being the strong points of education. Along with history or social studies. Love it.
