Highly recommend! Sharon helped us plan our honeymoon and it was such a great experience! Everything was done for us and our trip was amazing! Could not have done it without her!

In July 2017, my husband and I went on our dream honeymoon in French Polynesia! We were fortunate to have been given the guidance and knowledge to maximize our trip and experiences while there. We spent time on the islands of Tahiti, Moorea, Tahaa and Bora Bora. Places we would have never had known to visit without D'Ann's fabulous planning skills. During our wedding process, one of the most exciting moments we looked forward to was our honeymoon! The fact that it was planned thoughtfully and carefully without having to think about it was such a gift! St. Clair Travel is one of the top travel agencies in Michigan and recognized as Diamond Elite! These ladies deserve it!

So my husband and I decided to have a destination wedding in Jan 2017. We thought booking with a agency would be the easiest part of planning a destination wedding, come to find out it was the most stressful part of the whole wedding planning. We invited around 150 guest and had around 60 guest booked for our big day. At first we were working with D'ann. Picking the resort was very easy. We sent out the save the date a month later and informed D'Ann that our guest would be calling to ask questions and to get quotes on the price of the trip. Especially my family who has never traveled outside the US and my brother and his wife who would be traveling with 3 children all under the age of 6. I guess when my sister in law called D'Ann she had several questions to ask about the price and traveling with children. I found out through my sister in law that she was spoken too very rudely by D'Ann, which resulted into my sister in law and brother not booking through st Clair travel but also not even booking at the same resort as us. When I found out about this I was very upset. I droveup to the office which is 40 minutes from my house and wanted to speak with D'Ann in person about this situation. But I was upset to find D'Ann wasn't in. I made sure I came into the travel agency on a day she told me she would be there. Her coworker informed me that D'Ann was on vacation. One request I asked D'Ann to do was to please send us a courtesy email notifying us when she would be Out of the office so that I could inform my guests. Which through out the whole booking process she never did. Anyways since D'Ann wasn't here I asked to talk to the owner/manager I was surprised to hear that D'Ann was co-owner. For someone being the owner of a customer service company I was shocked that's how she treated her customers. When I explain my situation to the other owner it appeared as if she didn't believe me but she stated she would speak with D'Ann So a few months went by, everything was going good until my mother in law called D'Ann letting her know she was ready to book her family's trip. D'Ann asked what about your sister and her family? My mother in law informed D'Ann that her sister would call her when she was ready. So D'Ann asked if she could call back my mother in law cause she was in the middle of something. My mother law said no probalem. Well come to find out when D'Ann hung up on my mother in law she called my mother in law's sister and pressure her at work to book the trip all beacuse her sister was booking. So my husband's aunt called my mother in law and told her what D'Ann just did. So long story short my mother called D'Ann and called her out on it. D'Ann denied it. And told my mother in law quote" your just not a happy person." My guest shouldn't be pressure to booked especially while there at work and I was so emabarrased she insulted my future mother in law. So when I got wind of this I was furious. I couldn't believe how she was treating my guests but most importantly my future family. Her rudeness was uncalled for. Honestly after this I wanted to just switch travel agency but it was too late. So instead I asked D'Ann to be removed from handling my wedding booking. Kim was assigned to us. Kim was sweet and very pleasant to work with. The only thing issue I had was when it came to our purchased travel insurance which guarantee a price adjustment if the total rates of your trip drop. We were told that they would monitor the rates of our trip and notify us if the rate went down. I myself came across two insistences where the price dropped and had to notify my agent. I felt like I had to check everyday on the rates online because I felt like I couldn't trust the agency to do there job, especially when both times price was adjusted was when I notify my agent. So bottom line I advise people not to give St Clair travel your business. I just can't understand how an owner of a customer service company could be so unprofessional, insulting, and rude to their paying customers. I'm shocked that they are still in business.
