I am 11 and I have been going to this karate for 6 years and I am testing for my red belt. THis is a very good dojo and I recommend for all ages.

I have been taking classes at this dojo for many years. I attend the same classes as my wife and 3 kids. This place has a great family atmosphere as well as teaches traditional martial arts. I definitely recommend for all ages.

I've been practicing at this dojo from the start and have been with sensei Jafari for almost for 20 years. It has a very friendly and family atmosphere for kids as well as adults of all ages. staff and students are great people to work with. I recommend it highly!

Great Dojo (martial training center)! When it comes to exercise you don't first think of karate, but now that I am part of the Martial Arts Fitness Center I know what is mental and physical strength. I felt its effects in my everyday life. I started to attend classes there because of my daughter. She was shy and I wanted her to continue her martial arts that she had start at the local community center. I wanted her to feel safe, and part of a team or community, which didn't work out in our local center. I had gone to ask the owner if he would donate to my daughter's school annual fundraiser, but then the sensei not only donated, he also gave my daughter an I a free gigi (pants and jacket). Needless to say we signed up and were taken to a whole new understanding of exercise and self-assurance. It seems intimidating, but after a few months we started seeing the rewards and my daughter and I worked together at home. My decision to go to the Fitness Center was one of "good" decision, and one I have never regretted. I recommend Martial Arts Fitness Center for families and individuals. Oh, I forgot to write, you don't have to wear make-up or be in prefect form when you go. You just find you can go because you enjoy the rewards of martials, and the people who teach you and train with you.
