I have been bringing my 5 year old nephew here for about 4 months now. Every time I stay and watch I can see that the instructors care a lot about the children. They are teaching the kids about having a good attitude, maintaining good habits and being responsible and respectful to everyone they encounter. The other children are so well behaved. I'm amazed how friendly and well-mannered they are. Big thumbs up to the wonderful staff. I highly recommend this business!

I wrote this review on Yelp on Jan 2017: My kindergartener has been enrolled for a month now and we are so happy with their staff. The instructors are very friendly and professional. My son is always excited to attend class. They teach the children how to be kind, show respect for themselves and for others. They teach awareness and safety, strength, flexibility and coordination. My son also remembers to have good posture at all times. We are very glad we joined. We were referred from a friend and have told many other friends to join too. This is a great way to have kids to be involved in physical fitness. The instructors really get each child to feel special and volunteer or lead an exercise in front of the class. I believe my son is more confident and I can see that his self esteem has improved. He really loves this class! We are completely satisfied with their business. Mr Nunneley, Mr Cyrus and Mr Taylor are fantastic with children.

Very happy to have found this school. Instructors are very knowledgeable and eager to teach. My son's confidence has increased through their personal attention and encouragement. It's refreshing to find instructors who have your child's best interest at heart. They take time to explain and have nothing but patience as your child goes through the learning process. They take as much interest in you children as you do and that's a rare quality that I truly appreciate.

This is an amazing place for kids to learn martial arts. My son has been attending for a few months now and he absolutely loves it. Jake has not only boosted my son's confidence, but makes learning fun and engaging for the kids. We love going to watch my son's classes and see him constantly learning new techniques as well as discipline. Jake is a great teacher and always extremely helpful if you ever have questions. Love, love, love it here!

“Fun” and “happy” aren’t words one usually associates with martial arts. However, those are the two words that come to mind first when thinking of my two sons’ experience at Innovative Martial Arts. To be honest, I wasn’t too sure about having my boys learn martial arts. I have to say, though, my mind was changed quite quickly. Over the last three years I have watched my sons learn new skills and increase their strength, confidence, and their ability to persevere when things get difficult. Jake Nunneley, owner and instructor at Innovative, is to be credited for this. He is positive and encouraging in his instruction and is one of the most patient people I have ever met. Although they work hard, his classes are fun, which keeps the kids wanting to come back and learn more. Aside from the positive atmosphere, I also appreciate the flexibility in scheduling. Classes are held 6 days a week and you are free to choose the classes that fit best with your schedule. I also appreciate the fact that there are no testing/belt fees. I highly recommend Innovative Martial Arts. I can’t imagine taking my kids anywhere else.
