Love this place! I can always count on coming here for a great workout. The instructors are tough but friendly and are always willing to help make sure you get the most out of the class. Will definitely be a member for a while.

This gym is tight, I used to come here 5-4 years ago but stopped because of money issues (not with the gym). People I met there were very friendly and the teachers who taught at that time were very chill too. I went again about 2-3 years ago and the gym is still very good but new teachers I didnt know much but were still very friendly only I guess were a little softer which is not bad but the older ones pushed you more. Great gym though

I live near this gym and would often pass it on walks home. I always thought to try it and finally did, and am really glad. I did one free session with my trainer, Tom Avona, and the workout was excellent. Tom was a patient and knowledgable coach. I've now had over 20 sessions with him and signed up for another 20 and have no plans to stop. Every workout is different. There's always some basic boxing training. I feel like Tom's "brought me along" every session with a bit more instruction and more advanced lessons about boxing, Muay Thai, and even some wrestling and Jujitsu. Mixes in cardio and weight training. It's a lot more fun that training at a typical gym and I've gotten in "fighting shape" faster than any other time or with any other method. The other instructors and gym goers who I encounter there are also friendly / fun. Great for my body, health, confidence, etc.

I absolutely love this gym! I got a Groupon, and next thing I knew, I was attending a 1-month daily boxing bootcamp. Believe me when I say I'm not very easy to motivate when it comes to exercise. And I am NOT a morning person. AT ALL. But Thomas is such an incredible instructor that I haven't missed a single 6AM class to date! Not only has he helped me improve my boxing technique significantly, but his charismatic personality and sense of humor keep me motivated and positive. Plus, his drills and exercises are creative and really fun. Best of all, it's clear how much Thomas really cares about his students and wants each of us to improve. He's fantastic. I feel challenged after every class, and as an added bonus, I've lost 5 pounds after a week and a half without any change to my diet. Obviously, everyone's different, but this class has definitely made a difference in my fitness. The nice thing about this bootcamp is that it's a small class with a huge range of skill levels, so Thomas accommodates for everyone's individual needs and we all get a great workout. I'd never have guessed in a million years that I'd try boxing--let alone like it--but thanks to this gym, I'm having an amazing time giving it a shot. I'd recommend this class and this gym to anyone trying to incorporate more fitness into their regular routine. And while the instructors are versed in teaching all skill levels, I can say from personal experience that K-One is the best place ever to get an introduction to boxing. I highly recommend!

I have back issues and was nervous about learning to box even though I had always wanted to do it. Since K1 is right by my apartment I decided to give it a try and I love it! I am so addicted and look forward to my early morning lessons with David. He is amazing! Even though I have only worked with David, all of the trainers I see in the morning do a great job of motivating their class to really get the best workout. The other members are great and the entire environment of K1 is something that I wish more gyms offered- so welcoming, fun, and challenging! I definitely recommend K1 to anyone who has ever thought about boxing, muay thai or any other type of martial arts, but was too afraid to try it- trust me YOU WILL LOVE IT!
