Fantastic experience here! My boyfriend started going for Judo, all their coaches are amazing people and take the time to teach you how to do it right and will help you progress. I started their kickboxing course and loved it, it was a great workout and taught me so much about footwork and speed. Literally if we were not moving someplace where it would be a two hour drive we would still be going there. I recommend this place to anyone, it is the best martial arts school we found in all of southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio.

Injury factory is a legitimate description. Julio is a very dangerous man and should be avoided. F.y.i. many of these other reviewers are actually teachers and only posted reviews after i posted my first bad review. They are buddies with julio and arent just using objective facts. In fact, after seeing my review, the instructors asked students to purposely write good reviews. Thanks @devon mcmanaman #neals #martellas #russel burke #liv donbrosky #devon mcmanaman

The Training Compound is an awesome place to train! Julio and the rest of the coaches are very knowledgable and teach skills very well. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and you really walk into a family when you join. I never felt out of place or uncomfortable during my time there. I came in with zero experience in Judo and very very little in kickboxing, each class was taught in a way to improve every person's skill level, from beginner, to pro. I highly recommend TTC for anyone interested in Martial Arts.

I have had the pleasure to both train and work with Julio. He is a professional in every sense of the word. Never have I seen him intentionally injure or abuse any student. The time he spends learning the best ways to instruct his students and looking out for their best interests is second to none. He truly cares for the student. The Training Compound in Adrian, Michigan has lessons for the person wanting to get exercise and self-esteem to the person wanting to compete at all levels. If you are interested in the martial arts check out the Training Compound for one of the best experiences you can find.

Sensei Julio is an AMAZING teacher! He helps so much with getting every step to a move down. Even after him helping for just one day I feel more confident in multiple techniques. I highly recommend you giving it a shot.
