Great coach and great team atmosphere.

I've been a student for almost two years. Chris is an outstanding coach, and he possesses a wealth of knowledge in BJJ. If you're interested in beginning your BJJ journey, or if you're looking to take your skills to the next level, give Buckeye Jiu Jitsu a try. You won't be disappointed.

Recommended spot to learn BJJ, I was lucky enough to have found it after I moved to Columbus. Chris is simply amazing in teaching for both newbies like me or more experienced people, his experience in MMA gives him a really nice background and is letting him teach that extra step or move that will help you in different situations. Another plus is the community, you'll always feel as part of a family, and everybody is willing to help while rolling or drilling. Buckeye Ju-Jitsu is the main thing I missed from Columbus, if I would go back there I'll be rolling in this place 100% It would recommend Buckeye Ju-Jitsu especially to new people, you will learn a lot in a really friendly environment.

I have been a member of the Buckeye CrossFit facility since 2013 where I have trained in the CrossFit program as well as Krav Maga. Over a year ago I made the transition to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a way to improve my overall health, learn a new martial art/self-defense system, and continue to train with the friends that I have made. The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor Chris Larkin brings forth a great energy to every session. He has a fantastic teaching method that works well for everyone; those new to any martial art system as well as the advanced students. The class is well structured so that each student gets to work with everyone during their training sessions. The more advanced students are always willing to help guide the members through the motions as they learn the basic techniques. The atmosphere of Buckeye Jiu Jitsu has a “family” vibe as everyone is always helping each other progress, we all work together as a team, and it is easily one of the best facilities to learn the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu art.

Great facility with excellent teachers. I've been to a ton of different gyms and this one is top notch. No tough guys and everybody that you train with is willing to help you. A really good gym for beginners.
