Fantastic team of professionals! I personally trained through the kids and adults classes and received my combat Jujitsu black belt from Shawn Chitwood over 15 years ago. I now have two young daughters (5 & 6) in the little dragons program and wouldn't take them anyplace else. Their Little Dragons and Kid-Jitsu classes are second to none. They feature anti-bully training and anti-kidnapping drills that are simple and effective. And if you want serious adult or women's self defense training? You won't find a more practical and street smart set of instructors anywhere else. I can't recommend them enough!

During my two year work stint in the Mansfield Area, my family and I sought out quality martial arts instruction. We visited several programs and took advantage of trial offers. We had lost hope of finding a school we liked until we drove by Team Chitwood's Academy in Lexington. From our first impression, to our last class before moving, the Chitwood Brothers were amazing professionals. We were treated like family and knew we were learning from the best instructors around. Shawn's in depth knowledge of Jiu-jitsu and his ability to teach anyone has made our move difficult as we are unable to find a new school we like. Everything seems sub-standard! Neil and Craig, the younger brothers were no less qualified and brought a perspective to the mat that complimented their older brother. Chitwood Brohers, You guys are great! Your academy and instruction is second to NONE! It was worth every penny! Thank you so much for showing our family so much! God Bless! Dr. Paul
