I have done a root canal treatment two months ago by Janet Cheng Dentistry, a week ago I noticed that I have horrible pain in the same tooth. I went to an emergency dental walk in with a lot of pain, the doctor told me that she has never seen someone has pain after root canal, which means that dr Janet has failed with treating my root canal. Now I have to extract my tooth because Janet did not do a good job. So I wasted my money and lost my tooth because of unprofessional job. I do not recommend you to go to this place if you worry about your health. There are thousands of dentistries and you can find more professional dentists with lower prices.

First time I met her for filling my cavity in her dental office at North York, that's a great experience. My teeth are extremely sensitive and it scares me every single time when I step into the dental office since i was 6 years young. She is the one known exactly how to dealing with and care the dental issue like me. I am still visiting her even after I moved outside of Toronto. She is also my wife and daughter's dentist since 2009. -Baobaozhang

I have been a patient of doctor Cheng for more than 15 years. As I look back at my experience in her office I feel compelled to let you know how much I appreciate not just the treatment but also the feeling of being care for. The first time I called Doctor Cheng was when one of my teeth suddenly became so much painful. Actually I tried to call some other dentists, but none offered me an emergency treatment. Before I called Doctor Cheng, I was almost helpless. In the call she asked me how I felt, and let me go to her office immediately. My pain got relieved, and I suffered much less than I might have. She has good skill and technique, which helped me through these 15 years. She gave me rational suggestions to the treatments on me. She always uses the right, but not the most costive process. I started to refer my friends and colleagues to Doctor Cheng. And I can see they all eventually became good friends of her. Many thanks for the excellency, professionalism and compassion towards me in the past experience.

I found this place out via my school's insurance page. I decided to book my 1st appt back in May this year because of the convenient location. I didn't really like the old receptionist (I'm not sure if she's still working there but I saw a new girl so I just assumed that she's left) because she was pretty rude and loud. For my 1st clean-up appt, I got it done pretty nicely even though it hurt when the Dr was trying to clean the inner of my gum. I booked the 2nd one for my left side teeth filling and gonna have the 3rd one next week for my right side. The filling experiment was quick and not too bad. She even checked for the gaps between my teeth to see if I have any cavities. Unlike other comments, she didn't lie about how many cavities I have. Neither did she comment about my skin condition and my lifestyle (she did recommend me to do what I should to keep my teeth cleaned, and that's what needed). I'd need some months to see how my fillings turn out to be so I can recommend her to my friends/fam :)

Has been my dentist since I was a young child- and I have appreciated everything she's done for me over the years. She has consistently gone above and beyond for me. One such example was when I developed additional swelling after my wisdom teeth extraction had healed. I was not sure why the swelling occurred but let it wait until the weekend because it was relatively minor. At this point it became hurting immensely but her offices were closed. Despite this she still found time to fax me a prescription to help me with my pain.
