I have been a faithful customer at Shady Lane for many years. They feature local artisans work and the new location is stunning! The convenience of parking, friendly customer service, and outstanding quality make the overall experience a pleasure. I can always find that little something for a gift, or something special just for me! Alice and her artisan staff are always so helpful, and very professional. Shady Lane is my go-to store!

When they were on University Ave, I used to come almost weekly to look at the Oberon leather journals. Alice is very nice and friendly. Great store!

This is the most wonderful shop with an amazing selection of the most unique, precious and stunning things - a truly magical place. The owner Alice is simply a pleasure with a ready smile and a twinkle in her eye. The truth is if you can't find what you want at Shady Lane, you can't find it anywhere. We purchased a large, polished Laborodite stone which now sits in our master bedroom turning different beautiful colors as the light reflects off it from different angles. If you stop by I assure you you will leave with a smile, a treasure and a question - why didn't I come here before? Rebecca & Rick W.

Shady Lane is a wonderful store for finding gorgeous gifts and jewelry for family and friends. The selection is unique and extensive with wares from local artisans, and the staff is always welcoming and attentive. Located in a lovely octagonal building in Menlo Park with plentiful parking, only a few miles away from the previous Palo Alto location, Shady Lane is a Bay Area treasure and one of my favorite places to go!

What a wonderful store with a fantastic selection of gifts. Beautifully displayed in a warm and welcoming environment! A great place for Christmas shopping. As a collector of unique jewelry, I can always find something truly special. The store has an amazing selection for my husband & son to shop, too! They even offer complimentary gift wrap.
