How is this a 'luxury' brand? The single worst retail customer service experience I have ever had. In fact, I have had better service at Kohl's. The employees in the downtown SF store are not friendly, not helpful and do not know how to use their own systems. I tried to order a Christmas gift online and was unable to do so because the site did not allow for 3-day shipping. So, I took the time to go to the physical store, where their pushy and opinionated associates tried to sell me a different item (when I was very clear that I wanted a specific item). They then took 40 minutes to figure out if there was inventory or not, then 'offered' to place the order online on my behalf and guaranteed it would be delivered by Christmas. I received an email receipt confirming the order. Two weeks passed (including Christmas) and no delivery. I called the store and the associate says she cannot help me. The manager calls back saying that the order was rejected the day after it was placed because there was either no inventory or because the shipping/billing addresses did not match - I have to call the e-commerce customer service line to get an answer and waste more time. Apparently, Montblanc is the only store that will not ship to a non-billing address (how is someone supposed to send gifts? or have items delivered to their office, etc?). The associate who entered the order never shared this information and I never received an email saying that the order had been rejected. So, after making a $300 purchase, I have no gift and have received NO help from the store. This is a pathetic excuse for a luxury company and I will never try to make another purchase from them again.

This is not the service you should get at that price point. Brought in a meisterstuck for repairs cause I identified an issue. They took my email and phone # to inform me of progress. Assured me it would OBVIOUSLY not be used for marketing. After two weeks without news, I finally called them to enquire. They told me the pen was waiting. No one informed me!! I get in the store, get charged $75 to fix the pen. Ask the obvious question: what was wrong with it? They're incapable of figuring out what it is the support team did to fix the pen... And the final nail in the coffin: today, I open my email, and I see here my very first Montblanc marketing email. I like this brand. Or used to. What a disappointment frankly. This is not a BIC pen we're speaking about. This is not the service you should get when you buy a pen that costs between 500-1000$. Frankly saddened by the whole experience.

Just dropped in to get the fountain pen I returned for a new nib. I got great service and advice through the whole process of the nib replacement.

The sales person was very helpful. She was very attentive and listened to my concerns. This is the best Montblanc store I have ever shopped at. Other locations try to sell used items to me for some reason. I had parked in front of their store (not supposed to). I was anxious that I might get a ticket. She took care of charging my credit card quickly and I was able to get of the store in few minutes. It was also very close to their closing time. The most amazing experience ever at a Montblanc store. I will definitely shop here for my next purchase.

Had a great experience picking out my new Montblanc Starwalker Urban Speed ballpoint pen! The boutique is absolutely amazing and very nice and helpful staff. I highly recommend your next writing instrument purchase be from this boutique.
