My landlord goes through Boyers, and we had them out a month ago to snake out a basement drain that tends to get clogged with tree roots. The landlord said that it's a service that he only gets done once, MAYBE twice a year. Last night, a month later, our drain was backing up again with sewage. Once we saw this happrning, my fiancé called them, (around 5pm), and the man on the phone wasn't exactly the kindest, saying "if you would've called an hour ago, we could have done something. Call back in the morning" and hung up. We understand businesses close in the evening, but couldn't we have set something up for the next morning over the phone? Considering we have standing sewer water in our basement because of a service that was done half-way, could they have taken our name and number and set us up with an appointment the next morning? So morning comes, and our landlord calls them twice (he's their regular customer), no one answers. My fiance calls, and they answer. The man on the phone says "we'll try and get someone out there for you" and hangs up before we can ask for a time frame of when they might be here. They get here about an hour later, which is great time, I'll give them that. But when the man finished up, we hear him shout "okay, you're good", and by the time we get up to talk to him, he's loading up the van and pulling out of the driveway. No receipt, not even a note that said he was here. Downstairs, the mess that was left was gross. There are sweep marks from where he found and used OUR OWN basement broom to sweep up the wet sludge that had came up from the drain. We have to throw that broom away now. Do they not have their own floor squeegies and brooms? There are sludge tread marks coming up our stairs from where he had wheeled the dirty equipment up them. We have to clean and disinfect our stairs now. I know it was a free service, but I'm still shocked about the lack of professionalism. Trust me, we did not want to have this service done twice in a month. And Boyer's made if VERY known that they did not want to be here. Im sorry for the negative review, but it was a truly negative experience.
