This is a beautiful hotel, and I mean that literally. The architecture and aesthetic, inside and out, are quite appealing. But what really makes this hotel remarkable is the staff. When I arrived, I found out the heating system in my room has broken, causing the room to become stiflingly hot. The hotel had repairmen fixing it in minutes, no exaggeration. And they fixed it fast. Hotel amenities include the best continental breakfast I've ever had. I mean seriously, I could talk about the excellent rooms, the comfortable beds, the fantastic dinner dining, the pool, the golfing, the cafe, and so on... but what I really want to talk about is waking up and finding out that while other hotels mean "bad coffee and a stake muffin" when they say "continental breakfast," Rancho Bernardo Inn means something very different. There were quiches, scrambled eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, sausages, bacon, and so on. It was a spread that went beyond "continental breakfast" and went right into "I would actively choose to eat here even if I weren't staying here" territory. Easily in the top five hours I've ever been in.

I just came here for dinner but it's a beautiful resort hotel located a bit east of the 15 freeway. There are several high end restaurants to dine at on the property, often times with live music playing in the evening. The food and ambiance was great. I think the day time would be beautiful as the back area overlooks a lake. Service was a bit slow as the waiters seemed to be rushing around to too many tables. Will have to try again to see if it is consistent

Very nice hotel and facility. The restaurants on site are nice and have a good selection of seafood. This is a great place to come and relax or attend a conference. The only thing we had a less then great experience was with the room service. The food that came via room service was definitely not the quality of that in the restaurant. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful

I like to go to the Happy Hour for the $5 beers. It has a great sunset view over the golf course and fountain. Lots of business people stay at the hotel and enjoy the bar area. My son's wedding rehearsal dinner was here. It went very well too.

We ate at the outdoor restaurant on a Taco Tuesday. Not you ordinary tacos. Delivered to your table an full of meat. There is a buffet of fixings to top the tacos. The atmosphere was clean with a wonderful view and the service was efficient but a little slow. Overall a great experience.
