5 1/2 hour round today. If the pro shop had told us a tournament was playing before us we would have just played somewhere else. At least we could have decided whether we wanted to tough out the slow play. Over the last few years, though, it seems to be more about how many paying customers they can get rather than providing a great playing experience for a reasonable price.

We had a great time hanging out here one Sunday afternoon. The men hit a couple of buckets at the range, while the woman enjoyed some wine on the patio. Server was excellent, she took great care of us! Appetizers were yummy, and the crowd there had a cool, friendly vibe.

A great public golf course. The South Course is meant for long hitters and great short game. The greens are very forgiving and it is easy to hole your first putt or just two putt it in. Play from the tips and it's a work out if you're not a scratch golfer or atleast a 5 handicap. The South Course is easy to score low on if you just play for PAR rather than birdies. Try and play all the Par 5s for Pars and you will see what I mean.

Wonderful classy food service. Someone's cigar smoke was filtering into the dining room from out on the patio. Beans and rice were a nice touch to the tacos and enchiladas.

Good course for the value. Course has two 18 holes courses. Full driving range and bar/restaurant. I would rate as as 5 star but the pace of play is rather slow, especially on the south course. Staff is good, and friendly especially mayra, she always is pleasant and friendly.
