Fitzgerald Park is a great place to hike, walk, play sports and enjoy nature. It's for sure the best spot in the Lansing area to take a walk in the wilderness. The paths along the river and near the natural rock face are stunning in every season. There are always a lot of people walking and playing but it's so big that it can still feel very open. There is a fee during the busiest seasons, but it is well worth it.

Great Disc Golf Course. Even for winter play. Will come back in the Summer as well

Ok, so everyone should know that it is not quite what its all cracked up to be. Now maybe if you LIKE walking 3 quarters of a mile and look at a lot of rock walls or get lost for half an hour in the woods than this is for you ;). But seriously, the scenery is nice and the rocks are moderately interesting so ya, its OK.

Nice little park. Love taking the dogs down the trail by the river, this takes you all the way down to second island in downtown grand ledge, but can get muddy when it warms up. Going through the woods is super nice too. We see lots of folks playing disc jockey or sledding down the hills. There is also a playground and picnic areas for warmer weather. Ps. If you play Pokemon go, there were a couple pokestops and gyms. It is usually some sort of nest too.

This is a great place to come and walk some trails for a few hours, and do some exploring.
