The food here was REALLY good and the service was great too. Lots of different flavors in each dish and generally well balanced. Our experience was a little disheartened by a recommendation by a waiter to order a particular lamb dish, but it was so spicy compared to the other dishes that our stomachs hurt during our meal. If you can't handle extreme heat you better tell them first before they make recommendations! The waiter was very nice though he offered to have the dish remade in a more mild option but at this point we just wanted dessert to sooth our bellies. The bathrooms were very nice and clean, you use towels to dry your hands instead of paper - fancy!

What an amazing place. The food is unreal, the flavours and balanced spices that hit you with every bite are out of this world. I visited them in May 2018, with a group of friends a a young child. They are children friendly and the service is great. Yest is is pricey nut if you want cheap Indian takeaway food, then this is not the place for that. Parking is a bit of an issue, but this is London, this is true for most of the capital.

Really nice food and drinks. The decor and atmosphere really gives the place traditional colonial india feel. I'll be honest the seating is not what I was expecting from a Michelin star restaurant but it added to the theme. Service was good and attentive, our dietary needs were noted and catered for. It's easy to see how this place got it's Michelin star.

Excellent. I was particularly struck by the careful combination of components. Many dishes had the usual slow-cooked base typical of Indian food. But the way late-stage spices and vegetables were added, and final touches made‚ was artful. We visited for a special occasion and were glad. Staff were attentive, especially to allergy.

My cousin and I had the Hunters menu with wine pairing in Oct 2017. The wine was phenomenal and the stars are really a nod to the sommelier. Overall service was so-so, but most importantly the food was not good. One dish came out completely undercooked, but even when it was redone it was nothing special. I expected a lot more than bland food here given the cost and reputation. The Hunters menu did have a great variety of interesting meats, but I don't feel like the unique qualities of those meats were highlighted in any way outside the wine pairings. Presentation isn't the most important thing to me but I expected more than just the two dishes on a nondescript white plate. If you want amazing paired wines, this is your place. If you also want the food to be great, give it a skip, or at the very least don't get the Hunters menu.
