I went for a coffee and a cinnamon bun and the waiter asked me to take a seat and they would bring them over. The coffee arrived quickly but was lukewarm. I waited for 10 minutes for the cinnamon bun which was quite a long time to wait since the location of the buns was 1.5m from my table. All the waiters were on the restaurant side so I couldn’t ask what is taking so long. By the time the bun arrived I had finished my coffee. If I had waited for the bun to arrive the coffee would have been stone cold. There was only one couple besides me in the cafe so it wasn’t a busy time of the day or anything like that. I waited for another 15 min for the waiter to arrive so I could as for the bill. The waiters were all in the restaurant side of the place but if you have a cafe on the premises, you should take care of the customers on that side as well.

“Great service and lovely sharing plates” Came here on a Wednesday. Didn’t need to book. Was greeted nicely by staff who took orders quickly. I’d recommend the goats cheese sharing plate, you get plenty (or more) for 2. We asked for a side of chorizo even tho it wasn’t on the menu. It was no problem. The riesling wine was lovely - recommend that. I would come back.

Perfect for pre or post dining after watching Hamilton at the Victoria Theatre which is next door. The service was attentive, personable and timely. We mixed and matched from the Al a Cartè and set menu to be able to enjoy all the dishes we wanted. We were there for a birthday and that was catered for as well.

Sunday brunch : Very nice lounge bar but the waiter hadn't idea about the menu and how to talk with customers. It's a shame, could be a nice place. Just 3 tables occupied and they take ages for bring the order which came wrong and the waiter didn't ask if he can change anything. 20 minutes for bring a double espresso. They have poched eggs, they have smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce but they can't do a egg royal (?). They don't serve avocado toast. Overpriced.

Visited the upmarket restaurant upstairs. Five star service. Also like the downstairs less formal dining area
