Poor service - Staff smoking

We used to stop here when it was Starvin Marvin’s -1x a month in the summer. We stopped in this week and had horrible service and mediocre pizza. They had no beer and were out of several soft drinks. The worst part the room was continually filled with cigarette smoke. We asked the staff to shut the windows and complained of the smell and they acted shocked like they had no idea where it could be coming from. We paid our bill and left. We sat in our vehicle and watched the same staff run in and out to smoke. It’s summer so all doors and windows were open. They straight faced lied to us and said they knew nothing about the smoke. Pizza was not great. Service was fair. Doubt we will be back.

I'm going to break the mold of "Homer People support Homer Businesses" on Starvin Marvins Pizza. Their customer service is crappy, and their pizza's are mediocre, and way overpriced, when compared to any other place in Homer. They also tack on a $5.00 charge for delivery, even only a couple of blocks away. Speaking of which, the drivers use their own personal vehicles, and don't see a dime of the delivery fee. If you want a totally awesome pizza, at well under half the cost, go to the Sav-U-More deli. You won't be disappointed.

Great pizza and even better service. Our kids are able to play with the toys provided and the staff was very accommodating and friendly! A+ service!

They are the only people who came up when I googled for delivery. They changed their name, so I thought that the quality may have improved. Ordering a medium pizza for delivery with bread sticks was $32. Way too expensive, but I was hungry sk whatever. When I opened the box it looked like it was sliced by a child. There were no two slices of the same size, and they did not cross at the center, but off to one side. The pizza itself tasted like ass. Moving on from the pizza, I decided to just eat the bread sticks. They also tasted like ass, but their was another problem- they were actually bread loafs. They were nearly four inches thick and they were raw on the inside, despite being burnt. 0/10 never ordering again.

We got there and there were no other customers in the building at the time. We went to sit down and all the tables but 1 were dirty with crumbs all over. We sat for probably 5-10 minutes before she brought a menu over. We orders cheese sticks and a 12” pizza. Some other customers came in after We had ordered…We sat there for probably 30 minutes and then other people’s orders started coming out. 2 trays of cheese sticks came out before ours. I finally went and asked where our cheese sticks were and she brought them out. Then we sat there for probably 30+ minutes and then other peoples order started coming out to trays of other cheese sticks came out before ours. I finally went and asked where our two sticks were and she brought them out within the minute after that. Then we waited another 20 minutes for our pizza. All while 5 other pizzas came out and 3 groups of people left before we even started our cheese sticks. When we did finally get our pizza after being there over an hour, it came out burned and dry. Was not impressed at all!!!

Would have been my second time here (first was decent enough but, as anyone can tell you, service was awful), but even though I showed up 15 minutes after they "opened" the door was locked and no one was there. When they finally decided to show up, they still didn't open the restaurant, so we just left. The pizza's alright, but it's not worth the BS.
