During an overnight stay here in Homer I really wanted Halibut (Halibut capital of the world!) We walked around and checked out several restaurants menus including a very popular place just a few doors down that encouraged reservations and told us it would be a 30 minute wait for a table. We walked out and decided on Boardwalk Fish and Chips. As you can see by my 5 star review we loved it. The halibut was moist not dry and was not overly coated with breading. And what it was breaded with was delicious. So was the house made tarter sauce and coleslaw. I highly recommend eating here. Do be aware that you order before you sit down, and they serve on paper boats. Not a fancy sit down with a server place but very worth it. You can't beat the views either, see my pics!

I am local and love it when this place opens every summer! Very reasonably priced for fresh fish and the fries are awesome, my kids love it!! I recommend our favorite, the cod! They have awesome tartar sauce too and an amazing view!

Nice dining area. Staff was nice but..... Had the Cod and Chips. No flavor in the Cod but the seasoned fries were ok.

This place is AMAZING! All of the food was delicious. My husband got the halibut fish and chips. I have to say that was the best fried halibut ever. I got the clam chowder in a bread bowl and let me say, it was perfect. So good. I also appreciate how they operate. You come in, place your order at the front, find a table to sit at and then wait for your food to come out. Drinks are self service. It makes the experience quick, which is what we were looking for. Our food came out quickly too. All in all, we loved it and would go back again!

Salmon burger good, halibut good portion, could use some seasoning. Cute place!
