The tacos are REALLY pretty, that's about where the Stars end. The tacos are not well composed, the flavors were put together without concern for your palette. The bold seasonings and flavors you expect in Mexican cuisine are not found here. Even the salsas are bland, where's the punch, the fire? I wanted this place to be good, but it was a big disappointment. One positive thing is if you drink enough tequila, the flavors become less important.

This place has a uniqueness to it. It does not offer your standard stile tacos. It is a nice environment with great drinks and friendly staff, but I'm not a huge fan of their tacos. I'd say it's interesting enough to try once and see if you like their food or not!

You don’t have to be a taco expert to know that these are terrible tacos. Normally, a good taco will run between a buck fifty and two bucks. For what you pay per taco ($3, add another dollar if you want their disgusting hot sauce) you expect a transformative taco experience. District Taqueria missed the mark on their tacos in a big way. The soggy flour tortillas stuffed with bland fillings lean too heavily on the boring and bland toppings. If you’re in the mood for a tastier unauthentic taco, then you’re better off going to Burger King. It will be cheaper too. If you want good tacos, then stay far away from here. District Taqueria is being propped up by its trendy location and first-timers. Take the good reviews with a grain of salt -- something you won't find at the restaurant. If you want a decent taco, save your taste buds and money by going to some of the few taco joints around town: Rene’s, Lalo’s Express, Tacos Mexican Fast Food, and countless others.

Mixed drinks are overpriced and seem to lack any alcohol. Wonderful food and great prices on beer. Atmosphere is also extremely well done in a modern but yet old fashioned feel. Definitely worth going to at least once.

Of all of the hipster-y taco places around, I'd have to say District Taqueria has better more competitive pricing. The flour tortillas for the tacos were a bit small, and often became soggy so that was a little bit of a turn off. I had the fish tacos, which were good, but could be re-vamped. The queso and salsa are very good, and I consider going back just for those menu items. Also, the the tres leches cake for dessert was good, not as moist as I was hoping, which is a common trait for tres leches cake, but still pretty good. Service was nice and fast enough considering how busy it got.
