One of the few times the hype really does match reality. The pretzel bun turkey burger was easily the best I've ever had. Not a fan of shoestring fries, but they have plenty of side options to choose from. The place was hopping on a school night and not because of the bar. This food is really worth a visit! Definitely a Best Of Wichita spot.

One of my favorite local restaurants in Wichita. It’s a very welcoming and friendly environment. I come here a lot mainly with friends and family, and we’re always having a good time. The food is amazing and there’s a pretty nice variety. However since the food is absolutely top-notch, it’s gonna cost ya a little more (worth it though). The Anchor will forever hold a place in my heart.

Great sandwiches. A little on the pricey side for lunch for me. Our server was very helpful , friendly and attentive. I have been there twice and both times I had a great tasting meal. Plan on taking a least an hour for lunch. Not a place to go if you only have 30 minutes for lunch.

The Anchor is a Wichita staple. If you're a resident or just passing through they are sure to please with their local feel and flavor. The beer selection is of course fantastic, but the food is surprisingly amazing. If you're considering the anchor as a family, don't pass it up, they provided excellent service and didn't hesitate to provide my family with respect and good vibes. If you're just stopping for a drink don't worry, they're open late and have a huge bar with what looked like 30 seats as I passed by.

I have yet to order anything from the food menu I didn't really enjoy. They also offer a wide and diverse variety of beers both on tap and bottled. I would imagine whether you're a serious beer connoisseur or just a simple domestic lite beer type of person, finding something you like won't be a problem. It's got a really chill atmosphere and the staff are all friendly and know they're stuff when it comes to the menus. It's a cool spot to just hang out with friends and have some tasty food and drinks. I always have fun anyway.
