I went to Bombay Royale for the lunch buffet. It was very busy, but we were seated promptly. The variety of North Indian was fresh and skillfully prepared. I often find the food at Indian buffets a bit bland, toned way down for the public, but his was well seasoned and moderately spiced (mild to medium heat). Vegetarian options available. Really very good food. Parking in Northampton can be rough, so it is helpful that BR is very close to 3 lots and a couple of blocks from the parking garage behind Thornes'. My one negative observation was that seating was very tight, tables super close together and a bit difficult to navigate. It's a small place with a great buffet at an inexpensive price, so plan ahead to bump elbows and go to Bombay Royale.

I go there often, almost once a week. I am always impressed by their food and customer service. The staff is very friendly and take time take your order. Definitely one of best Indian's food in the Pioneer Valley area.

One of the worst restaurant experiences in my life. I called ahead because i had a large group after my graduation. When I called, the manager said that they do not take reservations so I informed him that we were going to be a group of 18 and that we would be coming in about 30 to 40 minutes, he said that all we had to do was come in and we would be accommodated for. When I arrived he asked me if everyone was there and I told him they were on their way. He said that two tables would open up momentarily for my family so I left my last name and my phone number so that he could call me once the tables opened up so that we could go inside and be seated right away because I do not want to fill up the lobby with our large group. He never called to let me know that the tables were available until i walked in to see another party sitting there. The manager constantly gave me attitude while on the phone and when I arrived at the establishment and when we arrived with our full party, the tables were taken by people he claimed had reservations and he was not willing to accommodate for us. i was HIGHLY disappointed in the way the manager spoke to me and handled the situation and he embarrassed me in front of everyone. The best thing about this evening is that i ended up at Pita Pocket a few steps away.

Service excellent, naan breads given immediately as you sit. $27:50 for 2!!. You can go up to buffet as many times as you like. Good bar, & wine list. We will be back!!.

Decently good biriyani, not as good as the ones I have had back home. Apart from that a place with good ambience. A pretty decent place to dine.
