Went with friends. Smaller rest. I had cod, batter friend and fries. It was ok. Price $12. Desert is very good. It's a basic bar with food. Dinner menu expensive.

This review is based on two visits. On the first visit, we were so ignored we didn’t even get water for the 45 minutes we were there. So we left. On the second visit, we did get service and food, but I’m not sure I would call that an improvement. The steak was really tough and had no seasoning. The decor seems very “Wisconsin”, which is like a 1980s den setup in a cave. If you’re going to spend this much money on a steak, go to the Waterfront a block away - in all ways better.

Amazing food and service. Try the garlic bread and steaks or anything else. Funky decor too

We were looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary and Mark Nichols, Bass player for the band, Sonic Beats, suggested Diggers Sting. Said it was his favorite restaurant. My goodness was he correct 100%. Absolutely the best Escargot ever!!!! The peppercorn filet was done perfectly and my wife’s shrimp was amazing! The vegetable medley was awesome, the baked potato and steak fries were perfect and quite frankly, this steakhouse rates among the best steakhouses in the country. The bar made a perfect Brandy Manhattan. The atmosphere is of the 40’s and 50’s and is totally welcoming. Highly recommended and we will be back soon!
