Enjoyed the Fish and Macaroni and Cheese, I have been to a lot of so called pricey restaurants and none of them have been as good as the food I ate yesterday at V's. The fish, mashed potatoes and gravy and mac n cheese was good. It's not over seasoned, but it's seasoned. That Macaroni and cheese is way better than B&M's. I'm glad I found out about this little hidden jewel. I didn't mind spending my money on food

I ordered last week and the food was OKAY but the customer service was really good from the young lady in the store which is why i decided to order again. I called yesterday 4/29/18 to place an order and the lady who answered was snotty in her tone and hung the phone up 3 times before I could even respond with hello. I understand that every place has bad apples so I wasn’t going to judge them based off of that one experience. So again I tried today..I called today at 1245pm and a young man picked up who was EXTREMELY RUDE . He started off by picking up the phone saying “what’s your name and what do you want?” Not “hello how Can I help you etc etc” I was confused and said I’m sorry I didn’t catch that... he REPEATED “what do you want” so i proceeded to place an order and asked could he run the side dishes by me and instead of him helping me out he responded “their on the menu “.. okay.. very rude again but i continued to place my order because i was already in route ... so i asked would he be able to place my honey for the sticky roll in a container so that it would not be soggy by the time i get home seeing as i drive 40 minutes from the far west side. He was very short in his response “ don’t do that” i said well if i could ask why not? I said i can pay a fee for the container if that’s the issue. He proceeded to say “that’s the reason” i said what’s the reason? He said “the reason is cause we don’t do that”.. He completely ignored my explanation about living so far away etc and talked over me saying “did you want the roll or not?” What a shame because the food is expensive honestly. I didn’t mind paying it because again i received exceptional service the first time. This experience has caused me not to ever ever support this business again. My request was not unreasonable and I have no problem respecting a company’s policies but his rude responses were unwarranted. I see in a lot of other comments there was awful customer service as well. I will be sure to retract my compliments i made to all of the people i work with where i encouraged them to visit. I’ll be sure to let everyone know to stay far away!

The place is clean despite a damp basement water smell. The food was good and the lady at the counter was very pleasant.
