The atmosphere was top notch! But unfortunately that all that was all that was great. Server seemed less than thrilled to be there. Never came back to check on us after we had our lunch. Our burgers were fine but the fries were cold, as well. Won't be back!!

The people are nice, the atmosphere is warm and cozy, the food is AMAZING and the portions are huge. Drinks are generous too. For the price you definitely get bang for your buck. Outdoor patio is fun year round. And live music pretty much nightly in the patio area. If you haven't been or it's been a while, definitely check it out. New owner has done great things to improve it.

Used to go & recommend Love & War, but no more. Today's visit saw a disappointing turn for what was a really nice establishment. Should have walked out when we had difficulty finding someone to seat us, or perhaps when they went through several stacks of filthy warped dirty ripped paper menus to handus. 2 nasty food covered paper menus with fewer items than the former professional ones. The menus looked like a take out menu someone wiped their face with. Prices were the same as always, but quality, service, and cleanliness, has dropped significantly. Really not worth it anymore. Very sad, as this was one of our favorites. Beer on tap is good and they play live music, so 3 stars for a night out. Just not worth the food prices anymore, so fair warning. Used to be the best place to go, but no more.

very very nice place. lights were kind of dim of being lunch time. went with a group of guys for lunch. food was hot and prompt! giving you a 4 star because the person in charge of the restroom was clearly not doing their job. water all over the sink, urinals were dirty. just a bad experience. chicken fried chicken was on point though! ;)

First time here in Texas and I’ve eaten a lot of steak, and this is by far the best steak I’ve ever had! Southern hospitality is the real deal here! Don’t get me started on the waiters super friendly and will let you sample beer! Highly recommend!!
