My husband and I came here for the first time last Friday. The restaurant is quite small but I believe that's what makes it intimate. The waitresses were very helpful at providing us with suggestions regarding what to pick from the menu. It was a Tokyo night and we ended up ordering almost everything from that menu. The food was well prepared and tasted very fresh. Sesame cheesecake was really delicious. Overall we loved the experience and are looking forward to coming back to experience other cuisines. It would have been nice if the restaurant were not "Cash Only" since these days less and less people carry cash. Nevertheless, highly recommend this place!

Hands down one of the best dinner experiences I've had in years. Everything was fantastic. Wonderful personalized service. Perfect ambiance. The food was delicious. Shear perfection.

Enoteca Maria exceeds even our highest expectations. We love the atmosphere there: busy but welcoming and cozy. The staff are always friendly, professional, attentive, competent and can speak to the menu from experience. The owner, Jody, is very well versed in wine language and always recommends the most amazing wines. The "Nonna" concept keeps us coming back for more. We love culinary diversity and Enoteca satisfies our curious taste buds. The food is always fresh and nothing beats a home cooked meal that I didnt have to cook myself! Their prices are reasonable for exceptional food and service! We've been here many times and were never disappointed. We have already made our next reservation!

Great small intimate setting. Kitchen is not hidden but in pretty close view which I like. The guest chef who was Armenian came out talked to us. The Italian chef also did. They even brought my small daughter to visit the kitchen. I would recommend it.

The food here is amazing and I like the fact that they have home recipes here. It was explained to me that they have two "grandmas" that cook in each kitchen and specializing in cuisine from their countries. It's a very interesting concept and I wish they were in the city, but worry not. It is a 5 minute walk from the Staten Island Ferry, so this is a perfect date spot for when you get off the Staten Island Ferry!
