Good was great. The girl who took our order seemed to be having a bad day. That was unwelcoming being that it was our first time there & we told her that. Anyway, we ended up meeting a guy that was very friendly, also the man cleaning the tables was warm & friendly. Again... The food was GREAT.

The chicken fried steak was good. The salad bar was very good. The chocolate cake we shared was good as well. The coleslaw was stale and bland. Corn was not seasoned, tasted canned. The bread they offer was empty and the wheat bread was growing mold. Despite what we ate, its still worth a try. The bbq I had years ago was good. I'd probably get the larger salad bar and forget the sides and order a baked potato. Ask for more gravy because it's better with it. Good luck.

I usually come into Houston for business at least once a month and I always gotta get my fix! The chicken fried steak along with those spicy hot tots is the best! I miss seeing the kid with the spurs hat, he used to go above and beyond to make sure everything was great. The rest of the staff is great still, I just wish they would go above more like he did.

Great place and great people running it! My friend and I stopped by for lunch, with our three toddlers. We happened to be in the area and I had been wanting to check it out for a while. They honestly went above and beyond in taking care of us. They helped us find a spot to sit that didn’t bother the other people who were most likely on their lunch breaks. They helped bring our food to our table and even gave the boys some ice cream. And did I mention the food was delicious? I’ll definitely be back!

Love it here, we been coming for years, and use them for many occasions, but what I have noticed is that one of the young cashiers never smiles, say please or thank you, even when you are being polite. Some of the younger employees had no expression on their face, its almost like they dont want to be there. The food is great at least, I need to try out the other location soon.
