The show room is nice. However, that's where he nice ends. I am currently trying to put my house back together after sewage flooded my first floor. Carpet 1 is the only company out of the three I called that would patch together old padding to new. Since that's what the adjuster said they would replace. Since this process made no sense I wanted more info. Turns out it voids your warranty for the carpet. No promises it would wear the same. Seems like doing the patch with the old padding would hurt more than help. What I needed was to have someone come out and bid the flooring and look to see if the pad would work. Greg at carpet one said "you need to take it up with your insurance provider." He also noted that insurance companies use them all the time. (Of course they do they save them money) He was also too busy to meet or set up an appointment for estimate. In short I do enough arguing with my insurance company. I won't do it with someone I'm perspectivly hiring to do a job. Carpet 1 is in it to make a sale and doesn't care about the customers. I will not recommended them or use them for any of my future job.

Working with Gold River Carpet One for our laminate floors exceeded my expectations, and I'm one very tough customer. The ordering process with Alma was a treat, contrary to the bidding process with other companies. Home Depot lost our business when we discovered unwelcome surprises in its estimate. Lumber Liquidators was a joke. The installation team Carpet One sent us was excellent. Polite, hygienic, fast, hard-working and super-skilled. One of our next home improvements will be new carpeting where we don't have the hardwood. When we tackle that phase, it's GR Carpet One's job to lose because we won't want to deal with anyone else. Also loved working with a locally owned business!
