The Sandman was very responsive and answered all of our questions. He was knowledgeable and we learned about what we didn't know we didn't know. Our house is 242 years old and the floor needed repairs. Tim did an amazing job with the repairs. His focus on the details made al the difference in the world for the repairs. We will use him in the future as our restoration plan unfolds. We found Tim to be a man of his word & delightful!

Think twice before signing contract

Took our deposit and never showed up to do the job. Refuses to return numerous voicemails. We are being forced to pursue legal action to get our money back. Use great caution before signing a contract and putting money down. We met with Tim in July to discuss refinishing the floors of two rooms in our house. His personality left much to be desired. At worst it was rude, at best it was awkward attempts at inappropriate humor (I.e. asking my teenage daughters on separate occasions if they wanted to talk about boys). Despite that and because of his positive online reviews we signed a contract and gave Tim a check for $400 which he immediately cashed. The work was to be completed the week of August 12. The week before Tim was to do the work I called him to discuss changing the stain color. The conversation did not go well. He accused me of being a “problem child”. He said he would not do the work and would send our deposit back. He has not done so despite numerous attempts at contact.

We recently had our dining room and living room floors refinished by Tim, the Sandman. We absolutely love the finished product. The floors are yellow pine circa 1893. Tim was ver helpful providing direct info about options. We went with a natural finish preserving the character and beauty. Tim was punctual, on schedule, and knowledgeable. The price he charged was fair.

Tim did a fantastic job! We removed a wall so he used wood from an upstairs closet to fill in the gap! You would never know it was 2 sections of floor.

Tim was great to work with! He is prompt, keeps to his schedule, and attends to details. We had several deep stains he was able to remove. Tim takes pride in his work and the end results are beautiful. We are VERY satisfied with our floors!

Excellent job. Tim was able to work with us to do the job in two phases.

Called this guy due to the reviews he had. He drove from Hagerstown MD to Cumberland MD every day to do the job. His estimate matched others in the area. Tim told me when it would be completed and stuck to the schedule. Very knowledgeable about flooring and does a good job! I would recommend him to others.
