Lowes has Lou. Best mgr in the hardware and home business. Salt Lake store. Everything you need and more. Great customer service.

Some of the employees are rude and judgmental. Some are okay but I think his name was Daniel, a bigger guy who wears glasses, is very LDS so if your not Mormon and want to do anything that doesn't align with his views he won't help you much. Just give you awkward looks like there's something wrong with you and then try his best to embarrass you at much as possible by asking you loud condescending questions in front of everyone else.

Surprisingly clean, friendly and very helpful. A great experience from a homedepot die-hard.

Thank you Larra! We bought a mirrored medicine cabinet for our bathroom. The back mirror was broke. We took it back to exchange it. The front mirrors were broke on the next one. That was the last one they had. A great employee named Larra came over and I asked if I could change the front mirror doors on the one cabinet to make a complete cabinet. Not only did she lend me the tools...she helped me change it out. What a lady. At the end she even did a price adjustment. You don't get customer service like this. The Lowes employee go's above and beyond. Thank you very much.

I'm a pretty basic do it yourselfer with projects such as patching walls, painting, installing faucets, basic electric etc. For my purposes, they always seem to have what I need. Whenever I have questions, the people who work there seem to be knowledgeable and helpful. I use Lowe's and Home Depot fairly interchangeably, and occasionally Lowe's has the better selection and other times Home Depot. Prices are competitive between the two stores.
